Need a lot more info.
What tire, lowered car, power/turbo, and mostly what rear are you using? Locker? and what do you want to do with the car?

I have a 3.90 on my FD. On the highway is great, but it sucks on take off. Once the car stops jumping up and down from the peel out it will take off. Understand what i mean.

S a 4.10 would be good for both highway, street and also drag. I like the 3.90 cuz i travel from Rochester upstate to Brooklyn alot. Its a 4 to 5 hours away. so the 3.90 is great for me

I had 4.33's and noticed a more peppy acceleration, but when you are making over 500whp, I dont think its a issue between the two, when my rear case broke in half, I didnt feel like spending another 500 bucks on 4.33's, so I just used 4.10;s because well, they are free. In drag racing, the shorter the gears, the quicker the et, the lower mph and vice versa. Now if you arent making those higher numbers, then 4.33's wouldnt be a bad thing.

I love the 4.33 gears. but I have an auto.

So what you're saying is you want to go slower and clunk around turns :D?

I did the 4.3 ring and pinion a few months ago. My car is a stock motor with the 99' 280ps twins in sequential with assorted bolt-ons. My rear street tires are 255-40-17s. Acceleration is definitely improved. Shifting into second comes alot quicker now. About the only downside IMO is, the miscalibration of the speedometer. If I'm cruising at say an indicated 80mph, the car is really doing about 70-72. More reason for me not to drive the car as much on the street now, so the mileage doesnt't creep up any faster :-)

you guys never tried to order the japanese RZ transmission speedo gear?

I plan on using a GTUs tranny speedo gear in my t2 when I do 4.3's.......

Would probably be a little bit of a paint unless you're doing a clutch swap, not even sure where it mounts on the tranny, never had mine out! But I'm rebuilding my tranny so it will be more than oppurtune for it :)
