3inch intercooler piping, too big?
im making a custom FMIC on my car and i have 3 inch aluminum pipes thati got for free and i was wondering if they are too big with the twin turbos?

If I recall, the stock pipe diameter is 2.75". You can always buy reducing couplers to mate to the 3" pipe, though high quality couplers can be expensive.

I'm stuck on the same problem. 74mm turbo with j-tech. My setup is different then most , but I'm always changin shit. The car is nasty right now. I 'll probally upgrade to 3" though. I cant see it hurting anything. I mean in reality, it might add to lag but if you running a big turbo and high boost who cares. The correct air cooling properties would be small inlet , larger outlet. Like the Greddy IC..... My Apexi 3R isn't though?

from my experience its cheaper and and u get less headaches just buying a kit greddy offer the 3 row w 3 inch piping expensive though.
