300rwhp , possible for me???

i would like to hit 300rwhp. is it possible with my mods? heres the list. stock engine/turbos, m2 med ic, m2 intake, hks dp, gotham hi flow cat, rb single tip, m2 stage 3 ecu ( changing to p-fc in a few months ) boost at 12psi. would my current setup get me to 300rwhp. also how much is possible with p-fc , hi flow cat , and 14-15psi?? thanks in advance.

XSTransAm 04-04-04 10:59 PM

yes i would say that is enough to achieve 300whp

Injectors need to be somewhere in that list.

Not for 12 PSI.

smg944 04-04-04 11:06 PM

yes injectors are going on when i get the p-fc, does anyone know the most whp that was made on twins, with a hi flow cat?

cloud9 04-04-04 11:08 PM

your definately good for 300+RWHP with those mods running 12psi and a good tune

might want to put a radiator on that list though

For 14-15psi he will. Form his above statement that apears to be his goal.

you can get 400-500rwhp off twins, I kno a fool who runs in the 10's with stock twins..

smg944 04-04-04 11:17 PM

500rwhp out of twins?? i have never herd or seen that. most i have seen is 412rwhp and it was at 18psi i think.. also i know that 400 rwhp is no where near possible with a hi flow cat.. so i want to see what the max is on a hi flow cat.

XSTransAm 04-04-04 11:28 PM

why is that? you can achieve 300 whp without going over 85% duty cycle and still maintain a 11-1 afr

edit: thats what i get for posting without refreshing...

oh and 500 whp on stock twins? somone is pulling your leg.

widebody2 04-04-04 11:44 PM

500 haha...and according to max cooper's fuel calculator which I believe is pretty conservative the stock injectors are good for 300 to the wheels.

RICKRX7 04-05-04 12:11 AM

My FD made 306 RWHP using the stock engine/turbos, PFC base mod map,12psi boost, M2 intake, M2med IC, Pettit DP and a Racing Beat dual tip cat back.

Yea...who on earth claimed 500Hp on twins? Cuz I have my BS flag waiting for him...

If you're talking about the same guy I'm thinkin of, it was 400some hp at 18psi yes, and good for what...8 or 9 passes? lol. At that kind of boost and the heat you'd be generating, you can kiss your turbos goodbye.

maxcooper 04-05-04 12:23 AM

Yes, you should be able to get 300 RWHP with those mods at about 12 psi.

would a upgraded fuel pump be a good idea aswell?

i agree, minus the IC and the hiflow cat, i am working on installing all the same mods... and those two will be coming soon :) 300 is my goal (for now :) too)

*edit* i guess i should add that i plan on upgrading the injectors too...

AMRAAM4 04-05-04 06:51 AM

Dee was going to tune me to 12psi, however, he felt it was too risky to run that on stock injectors. Could it be done, yes, but in his honest opinion the duty cycles were too high and he thought it was too much of a risk. I would like to get a pair of 1600's, fuel rail, and pump, which isn't that much....however, install $$ would kill me! Damn rats nest
