3.5 inch twin tip muffler
I am looking to buy a muffler with 3.5 inch inlet and twin tip outlet configuration. Unfortunately Magnaflow, Varex and the like I have looked into do not offer such a muffler. The muffler will be installed on my current cat-back exhaust, which is 3.5 diameter.
I do know that TCP Magic (G-Face) and R-Magic offer a cat-back with this configuration, however I would prefer to buy only the muffler with the twin tips, if such a thing exists. Any info on this? |
Anyone?

SMB used to make a rear muffler, which was offered with 3.5" in and dual out. Unfortunately, SMB has ceased manufacturing parts for the the RX-7 so you can't get these new anymore. Nevertheless, keep an eye out second. They were an Australian product, but lots sold in the US. They're pretty hard to find in Australia unfortunately. I doubt you'll find them in Europe at all.
AES in Australia can make you a custom one with those specs, which is what I am doing, but 3 inch in to twin outlet. The other option is to look for a single outlet 3.5" muffler and get a single-twin tip (which integrates a Y splitter into the tip itself)? It won't look as nice but opens up the choice of mufflers. |
I think the old RB exhausts were 3.5 duals. Had them on my last FD. Perfect exhaust, very hard to find. I don't know why they switched to the newer style.
