2 pumps is better than 1 / or not
Hi
As i saw from many threads , many people likes to use 2 fuel pumps in stock fuel tank ( for single conversion specialy ) 2 walbros , or 2 nippodensos , etc. All these cars seems to run without problems , when all the fuel system works fine . I would like to know why its necessary to use two pumps , in opposition to use a big one / Thanks. |
One is better as two will be restricted by approximately 15-25%. When running two, you may not know when one fails. Those are the answers I received from my mechanic.
I beleive those guys are in the 500hp range. There may not be a single pump that can handle theor fuel needs. |

Propably
its difficult to fit a big pump like Aeromotive 1000 in stock fuel tank ! who knows? |
So , 2 pumps in tank is the better choice for single applications , without loud etc !

the aeromotive 1000 is external!

6x2=1x12...

You need to be making some CRAZY power to run out of options for a single fuel pump, though.
