1st mod suggestions

hey, ive been reading a bit around this forum, you guys know your stuff, anyways, so i have a jdm rx7, engine wise its stock, and in pretty decent running shape, only wonder is it seems to pull harder from like 3-4K rpm then from 5-6K, is that normal? also if i floor it completly most times it will like cut out at like 6-6500 rpm, do these fd3s' have a similar fuel cut controller like the old fc3s'?? or is my 2nd turbo going possibly? any suggestions?

ok just wanted to let everyone know that, now, i want to give her more get up and go, but dont want to jump right into a single turbo just yet, probly over winter i will. but for now, what can i do with the stock turbos to wake it up. I was thinking intake and downpipe, mid pipe cat replacement, then i read about the boost creep, but they were saying about that guy JyRO who makes restrictive plates, so that will solve boost creep, in an addition to a boost controller? also i read ill probably need more fuel if i have intake and exhaust, so whats a good way to do that? keep in mind eventually i will get a single turbo. im pretty new when it comes to computers and electric mods and stuff... i come from a 88 N/A with a street port and headers and 600CFM holley carb, so this is a big step for me, but im loving every minute of it. just hit me with the info :):):) thanks guys

Before you start doing mods, you need to fix the car first. I can tell you it's not running properly just by what you've said. Read the FAQ link Kento gave you....

Read the FAQ, you'll pick up tons of information, the search button is also your friend. After that, your absolute FIRST priority right now is the following... Get a boost gauge. Without it, you can't really diagnose much of anything. I'm without one at the moment and I feel like I'm blind, yet my car doesn't even have anything wrong with it (*knock*knock*). It's key to being able to detect and solve problems that may arise later. After that, there are a few reliability mods that you can do, some of which will give you a performance increase. Getting an aftermarket downpipe will give you a big hp boost and is also good for the car. So with that, good luck.

^^ What these guys said! ^^

I do still make the restrictor plates. And if you're going to go single turbo, don't waste your time and money porting the WG on your current turbos. Once you get it running right, if you have creep, PM me. I'll kill your creep.

cut out after 6000rpm??? Max torque stocks but shouldnt cut out. Sounds like a fuel issue.
