1997 bathurst fd boost
Hey,
I picked up this fd. It doesnt boost properly. When you start it up. And warm it up to 80 degrees it will work(the primary turbo) with the normal bov noise When it has ran for a little bit 10-15 mins after it is fully warm the primarybturbo no longer boosts but i can hear it whistling also there is a different bov noise associated with boost from the primary not working. After 4500 secondary kicks on no problem everytime. Where should i start? Engine is stock. |
Secondary boost can only happen once you have 7psi on the first turbo.
Almost sounds like the flapper in the exhaust manifold is stuck open, in effect making you run non-sequential twins. Maybe the actuator gets stuck open when warm or something |
