1994 radio PT-9612C

Over Thanksgiving, a friend mentioned another friend asked him to help fix a stock radio for her 1994 RX-7. He had the radio on the counter and was asking if I could figure out which pins were power and ground so he could hook it up to a 12v power supply for bench testing. I googled for a bit and eventually came to you. I've learned enough to determine the PT-9612C is the non-BOSE version. The car is completely original and the owner would like to keep it that way as opposed to just installing an aftermarket system.

What I need is a label for which pins do what as they exist on the physical unit. Simply direct labeling of the second image would be perfect, or a simple drawing of the unit and which pins belong to which names in the wiring diagram would also be great. I have an annoying situation where I did not remove the radio from the car. I was simply presented with the already removed unit at Thanksgiving dinner and asked if I could determine what all the pins do. I searched the forums here, but after some time couldn't find what I needed and just made a thread. I assume from the image the two cables coming out of the unit are for power, in hindsight I wish I took better pictures of the cable ends. I don't even remember what they looked like. Thanks for any help.

In the wiring diagram, J1-08 is obviously ground.
"GY" going into "2I" from the amplifier appears to be power along with 1J, 1D, 1C, and 1A. (1C and 1A being the most interesting)
I just don't know which is which on the physical unit.

The large wires coming out of the unit may actually be for the antenna. I really don't know, I'm not even going to be repairing the unit myself. I was just asked by someone who struck out to decipher what the pins mean.

No that's dumb. The large wires have to be power in and ground out, because that's where the current is. I just need to know how to tell someone which is which, basically.

J1-08 is ground (individual black). 1A on J1-01 is blue/black wire. Looking at the connector diagram, the pictures of the connector show you the pinout as if you're looking at the connector. 1A is the "top right" of the first connector as if you're looking at it. I don't have the unit myself, so since J1-01 has 2 connectors, the connection with the most pins would be connector 1. Locate connector 1 and mirror it to locate 1A...

1A will be the switched 12V, while 1C will be your constant 12V. You may need to connect 12V to both of these to test. Also its hard to miss the ground, as it is just a male/femal single spade connector from what i remember.

Correct, I forgot to mention 1C for constant 12V.
