How much do non-turbos usually go for?

Flybye 04-30-02 11:28 AM

Why do I have this odd feeling that you have no idea about what is under the hood of a 3rd gen......

XL1022 04-30-02 11:31 AM

The non turbo question was not for the car on ebay.. it was a separate question.. But yes.. I am new here and still learning.. Pardon my newbie ways..

Oh ok. You're forgiven ;) :)

Well, the NA 1st and 2nd gens tend to go for several thousand dollars, really. It just greatly depends on their condition because of their age. A clean 91 will probably go for anwhere between $4-5k. Taking into consideration trim options, tranny, etc.

XL1022 04-30-02 11:45 AM

What about a non turbo 93-95?.. Cause I think thats the only type of RX i can get for my budget..

ThirdGenRX7 04-30-02 11:47 AM

oh the irony:crackup:

RX7FAN 04-30-02 11:49 AM

no such thing (stock anyway) they all had twins. if you count dead turbos you can say non turbo (I guess). so all 93 and up rx7's came from the factory with twins.

Shh!!! ;) We were all at his stage. :p:

Hey XL1022, the 93-95s were ONLY twin turbo from the factory. That is why you generally see them for so much more, because they are so much more car :D

ThirdGenRX7 04-30-02 11:54 AM

i remember when i got my 7 2.5 years ago and when people asked me if it was tt and I told them all 93-95's were, they told me i was full of shit... good times :)

and then you got the fools that tell you "Oh, but it doesn't say turbo on the back"

Yeah, and a Porsche 911 Twin turbo only says "TURBO" on the back. Does that mean that Porsche is lying about the fact that it has 2 turbos? :p:

ThirdGenRX7 04-30-02 12:01 PM

well let's answer the guys question... you aren't gonna find an n/a 3rd gen that's n/a on purpose;)

XL1022 04-30-02 12:09 PM

LOL.. Sorry... New Here... Im more accustomed to WRX's cause my brother has one...

XL1022 04-30-02 12:17 PM

Thanx for all the info though.. I need it... I'll take the jokes in good jest..

Cypher 04-30-02 01:00 PM

Now Flybye's original comment is valid..:D

93-95 RX7's are only available in Twin-Turbo form..for a working 93 RX7, you are gonna pay minimum $10k.

For a little fixer upper..$7500-$10000..

NickSimcheck 04-30-02 01:15 PM

But the quad turbo is the FD to get... those bad boys scream. If you can even find one of those it should go for about... 55-60k right guys? Another FD to try to get ahold of is the factory equipped 20B RX-7.
