You mention they are both the same turbo's so I assume you are talking about the JC Cosmo 13B-REW twin turbo's against the FD RX-7 13B-REW twin turbo's.
Stick with the FD turbo's as they are stronger, push more air, the rear turbo is much larger (hence less stressed) & there is more parts available for them. REgards |

If you mean that the front and rear turbo cartridges are exactly the same, I believe you may be correct. If you mean that the 13B-RE and the 13B-REW turbos are the same, you are absolutely wrong. I don't know and cannot confirm, but my hunch is that the 20B-RE turbos are identical to the 13B-RE turbos also, but again, just a guess. If you are planning on running the stock T2 setup, you most likely are going to need to modify to non-sequential. By doing this, you will also sacrifice low-end boost as it takes much more to get both turbos spinning at the same time versus just one at a time. Tim |
ok so far i got that the fd twins are better, idk why but w/e anyways to modify my twin on my jc 13b-re motor are the vacuum lines setup much diffrent from fd's? and would modifying the twins on a jc engine harder then the fd mod? i still cant find any write ups on jc engines
