13b re/ 13b rew turbo's

I have a 13B REW sitting on my shop floor for lack of a good set of turbos. I see a set of 13B RE JDM turbos on e-bay...anyone know if they will fit? I am hoping since they are both JDM they use the same mounting and port location?
please help

They'll phsically bolt on, but the only thing that will line up is the rear oil drain. I'm not sure about them clearing the waterpump. I would check for you but let me say this first, the Cosmo twins are smaller than the FD's, the porting is dramatically different between the RE & the REW so the sequentialness of it, not a word but you know what I mean, will be completely off, I don't think any of the vac lines will line up and just to add insult to injury rebuilding them would be near impossible from the research that I've done. If I where you I'd start looking for some "gone Single" sales or put some feelers out for the proper turbo's

the primary RE turbo has a more flat turbine wheel...which is not good for flow at high rpms

My memory is foggy, but I thought the 13B-RE setup had smaller HT-10 turbos, where the 13B-REW setup uses larger HT-12s. Which is not to say that they would (or wouldn't) fit, but I think I would avoid moving to smaller turbos if it was my project.

much appreciate the input, I don't want to go backward anymore than I have. I bought the REW for the improved torque over the fd's auto engine but got a bad turbo from Japan and the swap went south. Tried to ge the turbos fixed but no luck and now I can't seem to get my damaged turbos back from the shop that sent them in for me.

Used turbos typically go pretty cheap - I've bought good sets for $150 before. Hit up the For Sale section in the forum.
