13b eccentric shaft differences

I was trying to put back my twin turbo 13b back together when i noticed
that the eccentric shaft has wear and has some play in it.
I have another eccentric shaft from a single turbo engine laying around
the shop (brand new condition) my question is can I use this shaft into my twin turbo engine,
is there any difference between the two? if yes, what are the main differences and does it effect the way the engine runs or not?
and has anyone ever tried it?

Are you saying an eshaft from a TII when you say a single turbo eshaft?

Me too I would like to know if there is a difference?

Knowing the rx8 shaft is lighter

What about S4 & S5 and Turbo'd and NA

Does anyone know?

Yes, exactly do you know any differences?

IIRC you can probably call up ray crowe and get a brand new RX8 E shaft for under $200.

I believe i heard that the really high horse power guys runs RX8 e shafts because they are cheap to buy new and get ruined the same way a 3rd gen e shaft does.

Good used E-shafts are a dime a dozen. You can easily go that route.

I've not found a good answer if you can just drop in an RX-8 e-shaft. The e-shaft, rotors, and counterweights are the balanced rotating assembly. If it's a different balance that could throw the motor off.

RX8 eshaft is about half a lb lighter. I and many others have used it in a 13brew with no ill effects. I do recommend getting the entire rotating assembly balanced for any higher hp car.

That is true. It just comes down to what it is worth to you. Used FD e shaft for $100, or new RX8 e shaft for 200?
