1/4 throtle hesitation and backfire
 
the problem hapins when I am acelerating past 1/4 throtle and just as i start to build bost....not even 1 psi
i am running stock computer with open exaust....if anyone has any ideals i would apreciate the input....

oh yea.......this is a stock setup except for no emisions, the use of TII coils ....and it is in a first gen

So, you have a 3rd Gen 13B-REW in a 1st Gen RX-7, all stock, using TII coils?

What are you using for an ignitor?

stock 93 tt ignitor.....by the way....the back and mis fire is really bad ....thanks for any help

Any particular RPM perhaps? Is this just at about 2200 or is this past 3k?

it happens when the secondary throtle buterflies start to open........check map...ok...I am starting to check theTPS right now

I think I found the problem.....when i took out the solenoids my d.a. forgot the 330 ohm resistors...

If you aren't using an ignition amp, you might also think of one. The rumor is that the 93 stock ignitor needs a little more power to run the TII coils:
