1/2 bridge port FD project

well this is why my FD has been down for a while, it had 123xx miles on it and it needed a rebuild, it didn't blow yet. so i thought it would be a good idea to rebuild it befor it blew. it had great compersion (100psi) on all 6 face.

That's a hell of a port job for stock twins.

looks good, that will sound so sweet when you get it running again...

That's pretty cool. I got a deep port job on my car- no bridge cuts or anything, but it sounds pretty close to it at idle- really hates to be low in rpms too. I threw the motor in with my stock twins after I non-seq'ed them and now I've got a TO4R. Its a good idea to get ahead on the project with the motors unless you have more than one sitting around. Single is so much nicer.

ya im also full non seq. they way im building my car up is step by step so i can just go big upgrades without lots of work, like a single turbo setup, i got everything for it, injectors IC pump ect... so then when i get the single turbo kit i can just put it on without a tone of work. so i have less down time.

it might run today w00t

Lol, I was waiting for someone to say that :D

Don't get me wrong, the work looks nice, but that is more like a 1/4 bridge. I think it'll be nice and streetable.

MakoDHardie 09-13-04 10:50 AM

I did all the fuel an everything when I put my new motor in. Rich- you know all about that... I think it took us like 2 months to get everything I needed for my fuel setup.

ther's very little overlap to it, by the time the rotor edge exposes the intake, the exhaust is mostly evacuated
