$1000 bucks to spend on...

Car already has full exhaust, intercooler, intake, ecu. What would the next mods that will help me out the most? Yes this is a newb question but I have no idea. The only thing I can think of is injectors for higher boost. What do you guys think?

meddle 02-22-03 02:39 PM

fuel pump injectors and retune.

What ECU do you have? If not PowerFC, you should go there.

Reinforcing your fuel system is a good investment. You'll have to do it sooner or later and its better that you do it sooner than when you'll be wishing you had already done it. If you don't think you need that yet, look at little things like short shifters, torque braces, PPFs, or save it for wheels. I'd probably go with a retune and/or upgraded fuel system.

while youre doing the fuel system, you should go ahead and go nonsequential, redo your vac hoses, do the block-off plate thing, hook up an ignition box. . . yada, yada, yada.

Lol, it's like you guys are actually getting tired or recommending to other owners what to do!!!

skunks 02-22-03 10:04 PM

fuel fuel fuel!

I figured I should spend it on fuel system. I already am going to go non seq, and already have done the silicon hoses. I will get the injectors and fuel pump and then whatever I have left over save it for the new engine when this one goes. Thanks...
