NC 1993 Red on Black Base, 89k, new engine, rare combo

Year: 1993
Make: Mazda
Model: RX-7
Price: $17500
Mileage: 89000
Color: Red
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (US State/Canada/Int): NC

Base model with no wing or wiper
Black leather interior in great shape
5 spd with new clutch
Rebuilt engine with 150 miles
intake/exhaust/power fc
new tires

Good: New engine with 150 Miles. This is the last car of over 100 that we have sold with new engines. Full OEM Mazda rebuild kit with Goopy Apex Seals. Power Fc with commander. The interior is in fantastic shape especially for the year. I installed a new radio and new speakers.

Bad: I had a dent removed from the front passenger fender and installed new headlight covers. The new red paint obviously doesnít match the 25 year red old paint on the other panels. No body damage on any other panels except for a few rock chips or small scratches at a few locations.

AC is in place but probably needs a charge.

Pics will be up this week

This is a sweet deal, especially being a base with black interior. Are the seats leather or cloth like the R1 would be?

Either way, gorgeous car and best of luck with the sale!

New price

I priced it assuming someone would spend $500 to respray the fender. I will lower it to $17k for more room for repair.

Surprisingly I still have the car. I will probably paint the fender a different shade of red and raise the price accordingly.

The car had a dent in the fender so I replaced it with a new OEM fender and had it painted locally. I have seen and been inside hundreds of FDs and this car is a good one.

Sorry for the lack of replies...Been slammed at work.

I found an original brake duct cover in VR so you can tell itís just the fender thatís the wrong red. If I get time I will get this sprayed in the correct color

Headlight covers are good.

Car runs perfect and has no mechanical issues

Clean title.

Can you define 'intake and exhaust'?
What sort of tune is on the powerfc right now?

Would like to talk about it, if you can pm me (or pm me a number to call) I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

Anyone whoís on the fence about buying a stock FD, promptly hop off that fence and buy this car. Fresh engine, good paint, black interior and no sunroof for $17k...are you kidding me!? And itís got less than 100k miles.

Speedo works, odometer works, all interior panels are there, clean title, manual transmission...

To OP, the ONLY thing that a serious buyer needs to know outside of what is already here is compression numbers. Thereís literally nothing else that needs to be said. This car looks like a great deal.

This car shouldnít have lasted this long, Iím shocked itís still here. Maybe the market has all but stopped. Everyone who wants an RX-7 and can afford one, has got one? Itís the only explanation.

Goddamn. This is almost exactly what I'll be looking for in 5-6 months as a second FD.

Good luck with the sale. I hope someone snaps this up quick.
