TJ Hunt rx7...concerned...

His clickbait vlog videos keep popping up on my youtube not matter how many times I try to disable them.
Whatever happens, it's good for the rotary scene. He has ruined every can that he owns (rocket bunny & air bags) so he will surely ruin his FD. That takes one more FD off the road and, with a shrinking supply, the prices for our FDs will go up.

Some highlights:
"He manipulated clips to make it seem like he was drifting AmbushDrifts car. He attended two, yes TWO drift events before blaming the car and getting angle mods. Before he even tried drifting he talked about how expensive it was and you have to be willing to spend money to drift, that's simply not true. If it cost as much as he says he should be a goddamn FD driver and I shouldn't have even an hour of seat time. When someone has that clouded of a mind but a giant social influence, its gonna make people mad. He's basically influencing the next generation of drifters to be entitled egotistical **** bags."
"The canned motivational bs, the lame 'clothing line', the whole bought vs built thing, the overwhelming feeling that he doesn't know much about turning a wrench at all."
" He didn't know how to turbo a car and put a ton of money into a Miata and blew the motor the first time he took the car out and acted like he knows ****"
"1) Hes a ******* poser he barely works in his own cars. 2) He thinks money buys skill 3) HE puts no personality into his videos "
"Form over function, fake parts, the drift car fiasco, his "brand", etc."
"Nothing againts the ***** personaly i just cant stand him, his face, attitude, voice, girl, cars, existance pisses me off."

Guy seems like a tool. But then again I wish I was a tool that make 50k a month by doing sily lifestyle YouTube videos
if be the biggest tool lol
i did watch the video of him buying that fd. Hope he atleast don't swap it he's got a decent audience. And Lord knows what bad influences do

Rob Dahm made a video pleading for TJ not to **** this up.
TJ is a tool as has been said in post prior.
While he hasn't confirmed what exactly he'll be doing to the FD he did confirm it'll be swapped from Auto to Manual.
It almost sounds like he wants to 3 or 4 rotor it...but you can tell he has no idea what that cost are the complications of doing such a swap. He acts like its "so easy to do".
In the last video where him and his friend drove the FD he claims the massive vape cloud coming out the exhaust is just due to a turbo seal failing (in his opinion he doesn't actually know) and not the coolant seals on the engine.
Simply put, don't watch his videos as you just give him ad revenue and justify his continued existence.

Constant threat
I lost all hope for humanity when I was dealing with that Tanner Braungardt fellow who'd inadvertently posted my phone number as his...and I had several dozen to several hundred calls a day coming to me. In spite of myself, I had to check him out...and frankly I was stunned/shocked/sickened by what I saw. Sixteen year old kid with a GT-R and a Lamborghini and a Ferrari...living in a $800,000 home, and just RAKING in the dough from these vapid twits that watch his videos.
Now there are bona fide occupations of "Internet Blogger".
Unreal.

Most viewers for these kind of youtube channels seem to be around 8-15 years old. Just read the comment section and it's like middle school. These kids look up to youtubers almost like movie stars. Look at some of the youtube conference videos and you'll see popular youtubers swarmed by thousands of screaming kids.
Telling an 8 year old kid that you're going to swap in a 4 rotor with a huge turbo and make 10,000 hp to drift around an active volcano is going to get you more views than saying that you're going to restore an FD and keep it all original. More views means more money.
These channels aren't even automotive related any more. They're all cookie cutter copies of each other. It's just quick cuts, weird faces, loud voices, and a lot of "bro...vape nation...burnout...aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh."

Why are you 'concerned' and getting all worked up over what someone else is doing with their car/money?
If you don't like the guy, don't watch his channel. You can hide channels on youtube so they don't show up or get recommended.
For real, if he buys a car and has fun with it and people are entertained, then what's the problem?
I watched a couple of his videos, didn't really like his style and just moved on from it.

so he posted another video of him installing some ugly tail lights. I gotta give the guy credit - I hate it but I'm still watching.

If you REALLY want something to watch, why not check out Donut Media and their "Up to Speed" on the RX-7:
I've really come to like these guys... ESPECIALLY this series (they've done the Supra, Lancer Evo, Buick Grand National and a bunch of other cool cars).
