Sexy car.

Lap after lap, I watched on as this FD3S RX-7 tore up Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. It elegantly glided through the apexes and carved down the famous Corkscrew, taking bits of my heart with it as the power was reapplied.
All on street tires that won't last one lap of serious driving (Toyo R1Rs) before they grease out and no accusump in sight not to mention roll cage or even roll bar. I'm not surprised this "track weapon" didn't have a reference time for the track it was photographed on in the article.

Together, they’ve taken this car from a rough, old Mazda and turned it into a formidable track weapon.
Well, it is a damn good start and looks drop dead sexy hard parked. Lets hope it does see some competition at some point.

I am an *** for not being clear I think the owner is obviously a bad *** for having good taste and enjoying his car on track as well as the street.

The issue I had is the editorial.
Presenting real pictures of a bad *** car with real specs (which I enjoy seeing) and then adding this fictionalized hype of it being a track weapon.

Every weekend there are club level racing events with "track weapons" being used in the hands of "apex assassins" and I can count on one hand the number of journalists I have seen at these actual competition events sharing my friends and fellow competitors bad *** cars with the public.

Jebus...another ******* huge, hideous and non-functional wing. Kills the whole thing. And you can tell the guy is a tool by his friggin' ***** tag. And seriously...no cage? A "track focused car" with no cage?
******* poser.

I know the history of the car and the owner is my friend's classmate. I am going to refrain from saying anything negative.

But nothing positive to say?

When Keiichi Tsuchiya has poor impression from driving a car, but for one reason or another has to be diplomatic in his review.

"Hot Version has no comment."
