Power mirror circuit board help
I was working on making a printable replacement clip for the power mirror. I disassembled the existing one but I don't really get what I am looking at. The circuit board has a sticky residue on it and the contacts look like they are just adhered using said residue. Can anyone explain how this is supposed to go together, please? Thanks in advance.

The gunk is just a diaelectric grease to try and keep oxidation at bay.
Those rocker contacts just sit in there, you then pop it all together. I seem to remember there's a ball bearing in there somewhere too that likes to go missing. Are you saying you took it apart and can't remember how to put it back together? Or you just want to know how it works? Dale |

I think I tried to clean the contacts on mine once. I ended up buying a new switch :).
