Original Windows Stickers...?
1 Attachment(s)
Who still has a copy of their ORIGINAL window sticker?
Attachment 749605 I'm trying to establish a data base of options/MSRP pricing/Trims for each year and I'm looking for any and all years, trims and options. TIA :icon_tup: |
You made me wonder where I put mine. I'll see if it's still in the file and scan it in and post it up.

Here's mine. I still fondly remember the day I picked up the FD:

Awesome! Thanks David!

Sure thing Matt. Did you buy yours new? Can't believe how much these things cost back in the day although I did get a big discount off the sticker price as the dealers were trying to get rid of the cars around the time I bought the FD (Dec 1994).

I've got most of mine. Not bad considering I'm the 3rd owner... https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...bef6b9424d.png |

The Turbo II would come a couple years later and from there it's all downhill. |

That included a discount for paint damage due to acid rain of $2,500. From the beginning the cars were not selling and therefore were left sitting at the dock. This was before they started wrapping the flat surfaces of cars to protect them as they do today. Actually, this might be why they started doing this. So many '93's had acid rain damage, at least on the east coast. Some dealers repainted hoods, others wet sanded them to alleviate the issue. My car was only polished - on the VR cars it wasn't all that noticeable except under artificial light. Black cars were pretty bad from what my sales guy told me. I had to sign a waiver stating I would not later come back for a warranty claim for paint issues to get the $2,500. So if you own a ’93, especially a black one, you might be surprised to find a panel or 2 (hood and roof most likely) have been repainted even if the car was reportedly never damaged. Just a little FD history lesson for you youngsters :) |
