OEM Fender Part numbers with Side Marker Hole

Hello,

Tried looking around on here for my question, but couldnt find what I want confirmed.

So I want to know if I purchase new oem fenders for my 93 base, if they will already have the hole cut out for the side markers used in japan. I plan on getting my car painted this year at some point and want to add on the side markers. My Passenger side fender is in rough shape.

From looking at this website https://www.nengun.com/oem/mazda/rx-7-fd3s
https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...56e1192f18.png

52110 and 52210 refer to part numbers F10052111D (FD0152111D shown on parts websites) and 10052211D (FD0152211D shown on parts websites). Both can still be bought from any mazda parts dealer online, but talking with some of them, they are unable to confirm if they have the side marker hole or not.

Anyone can confirm this for me?

Thanks

Unless there are 2 different fender part numbers, it likely won't as the usdm market didn't get side markers so the replacemt parts wont have provisions for them

I see what your saying, that makes since. I guess if I cant find a used passenger side RHD fender, then ill just buy a new LHD fender and cut the holes out. I remember seeing a thread on here on the dimensions of the holes, have to dig it up again.

the US (without hole) is
FD01-52-111D Right
FD01-52-211D Left

the Japan market (with hole) is
F100-52-111F Right
F100-52-211F left

Cutting the holes out isn't too hard. But, a real pre-stamped hole from the factory will always be the best quality.

I cut a fender to add the hole on my car with a Dremel, wasn't too hard to do. But my hole isn't totally perfect.

It's definitely worth considering since shipping a new fender from Japan will be pricey. Try amayama.com - you can put in the part number and they can quote the cost and shipping, they are great to deal with for Japanese OEM parts.

May be able to find a good used JDM fender in the US from someone removing the fenders for a body kit or something.
