Have you driven the NSX? If you haven't driven it, an FD, and a supra, you wouldn't cal it THE supercar from Japan in the 90's. You are just saying what the Honda marketing team generated. I could be wrong and maybe you have driven all of them, I just don't see how it's so different than the other Japanese sports cars produced to put it at a different level. In my mind a supercar from the 90's is a diablo, or top level Ferrari, or others that are similar. Performance may be similar in some cases, but that's not the only thing that makes a car a supercar.
No. I haven't drivent them all. Only a base 996 carrera, and obviously FDs. Rode in a MkIV Supra TT around town once owned by one of my college professors years ago. Don't have any real interest in driving the Toyota or the 911 turbo. My interest in driving or owning (other than my FD) would be the purist cars-- GT3 or an NSX. Just my opinion.

Step right up and place your bets...

1995 Montego/Tan, Tourin. 47K on the clock. Clear CarFax. Cali car. Seems to be original with recent maintenance.

I'll saaaaaaay. $25K.

Last edited by MattGold; 02-05-19 at 12:06 PM. Reason: Yeah, yeah - I didn't see the hot start issue. Move by bid from $35K to $25K.

I'll say $20k. Difficulty starting warm + repaint + shitty pictures + gross interior. Needs a new engine most likely. Peanut gallery is going to destroy this one.

Certainly not a car a collector will be interested in. Bidding will go to 22K, but will not make reserve. The GOAT has spoken

Wish they had detailed it....

No bose, final year of production, the 94+ tan scheme doesn't offend, low-ish miles, california car. It's got a lot going for it.

Bad season, not the best presentation, but tax returns are coming. Tough to call it. I'll say $27,500.

In March 2017 I paid $20,500 on BaT for my California 1995 MB with same options, mileage, and better cosmetic condition (no hard start issues).

This 95 mb is all about quality of paint work and compression. Nice that it's a bone stock 95 and a CA car (body looks good) BUT interior is rough or it's worn and faded etc....

Injectors replaced so possibly leaking which could explain hot start but you'd typically have start issues hot or cold. So probably low compression due to carbon. This doesn't look like a well cared for FD.

At this time I'll say 25k until the buyer responds. I don't see it selling for more than 30 or going lower than 20.

Guess I'm sticking with 25k. Hopefully the buyer gets lucky and the car has quality paint and good compression.

$19k. The poor presentation kills it.

YEP, the seller isn't playing ball that's for sure.

Again I prefer a seller who isn't putting lipstick on a pig which surprisingly is one of the comments someone made about the paint job (rough crowd on BAT). This guy doesn't care and I won't be surprised if it sells for less than 25k and someone gets a good deal. Hell it may not even have a reserve Typical sellers trying to rob you are the exact opposite.

He didn't even clean the interior. He's like; here's my 95 FD, I like to hold the shift ****, I leave it in the sun, I drive for years on old tires, the gas tank door got dented up (no explanation about how much damage, how it happened etc...) and I decided to paint cause it was also faded blah blah blah. Don't have a receipt, can't get compression done, eff you, either buy it or stfu.

I think you and I are some of the few that can appreciate his style. We've seen the reality of a "pristine" FD one too many times after unloading it off of a semi.

My opinion is that selling in February was a big mistake. Half the country is having severe weather. It shrinks the pool of buyers.

Great Buy. That thing is a $1k detail/paint correction from being a $25-27k FD.

19.5 rounds up to 20 right? What do I win??

That new listing has some garbage photography (EVEN WORSE than the last one!!). I can't believe they even allowed that to be posted.
