I think the 93 on Craig's List is probably a steal in this market. Many of the 93's and especially the VR's had paint fade issues (or acid rain damage on some). So, repainting was common. 60k miles is relatively low. Having a Ray Crowe new engine, but still having the original engine is a plus.

Seemed like a good deal on the surface - the posting is already taken down so perhaps it sold quickly.

Yeah. That was a clean car. Low miles. Good color combo. It was $26k, right? If there was nothing wrong with it, that's a very good price.

Here we go again! SUPER low mileage: 9,500 - that's like less than 400 miles a year! 1994 Vintage Red (NU) over black Base model. Has some weird wear under the hood, but otherwise looks pretty clean - but not as good as I would expect for the mileage. My guess: $47,500.

I think I have seen this car in person. There was a dealer with it on display at the Concourse de Elegance in Plymouth MI recently. It wasn't in the show but it could have been. It definitely belongs at the top of the market.

Could be the nicest one we've seen. Wonder if it will cross $50k. I don't normally red fd, but I love the 94+ and no sunroof.

This is just like my 95 VR base car with the cloth seats and no sunroof. Very clean. Seller went overboard to point out minor flaws.

It is very clean, but any idea what is going on in Photo 244 - the trashed sticker and the paint worn through to the metal? Very weird.

Something rubbing it for sure.

Gas cap says barn find or possibly not stored in the best environment. Cowl may have fade, paint may have fade......all else looks typical for a 9k mile FD.

Will be fun to watch and may go above 50k

It doesnt look as good as the mileage suggests it should. Some of the other cars we have seen are much better cosmetically. Lots of little paint dings. The headlight covers dont match the rest of the paint.

I'll go with $42K (lower estimate since I hate red )

The VR R1 in DC Metro is still available. Looks like the original ad may have expired.

As another data point, a 94 SSM R2 with 72k miles listed on Facebook marketplace sold for $23k in PA earlier this week. The car had minor issues like SRS light staying on, damaged interior door panel, water in spare well, aftermarket front windshield etc.

When I saw this car in person, it looked immaculate. Now I wasn't going over it with a fine toothed comb, but it looked like a new car to me.

And now a pretty modded CYM with over 100k miles - and showing it's age. With admitted compression trouble and some other issues, I'll still put in my guess at $22,000.

There are also paint issues on each fender edge beyond what is described, but seen in the photos. Definitely interested in where this one ends up and what $ premium CYM commands with known issues upcoming.

Man... that CYM is kinda rough. Unprotected wires draped over the radiator, no undertray, and dirty interior are red flags to me.

Not to mention this vague, all-encompassing diagnosis: "low compression and a misfire, reportedly resulting from a worn rotor housing and apex, oil cartridge, and coolant seals"

Fit, finish, and details are key for swap cars. Almost nobody does a nice job with an engine swap. I see some stuff that makes me worry about attention to detail, but nothing a new owner couldn't correct. $25,000 - $32,500.

Undertray and what not are easy to fix. Definitely needs some body work. Interior seems alright for a 100k car. Engine rebuild is to be expected. The car should clean up good as a driver. Get it for 20k and put another 5-8k for paint and engine work this should be a very nice CYM with 99 spec goodies.
