Hotwater labs instructions. Black Tie Motors?

Was looking for hotwaterlabs sleek headlight instructions this morning. My fd is cut up from previous headlight installs and want to see exactly how everything mounts before I modify any brackets.

Also, while searching I noticed I can't find the website. But then black tie motors came up. Looks like a name change. Also, the fd sleek light is no longer listed for sale. Wonder what happened....

Hey Collin. According to the Black Tie FB, Hot Water has shut down for a few months. Not sure what that means but can't be good. Black Tie is a distributor for Hot Water.

Thanks David, if anyone has pictures of how the sleek light covers install I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

its just two brackets. one of them shares a mount with the most forward fender bolt and the other is an L bracket that mounts on the rail above where the pop up motor would be. the L bracket you have to use self tapping screws to install. the light assembly mounts with existing mount points used by the pop ups. i have these lights on my car. the bucket assembly isnt as secure as i would like it to be but its secure enough that it wont fly.

i'll take some pictures for you later today

the attach points actually on the buckets are fixed and the holes on the brackets are pre-drilled.
