First video game to feature an FD?
So...don't ask me how...but somehow I stumbled upon this video on youtube of a Playstation 1 arcade racing game featuring the FD. Apparently the game was released in Japan on April 18th 1997, which is 8 months earlier than the first Gran Turismo game (which I thought was the first game to feature the FD).
Its called Hashiriya: Ookami Tachi no Densetsu...or "Street Racer - The Legend of The Wolves"...yeah I know, pretty epic name. If you notice in the video it appears the FD has the Mazdaspeed A-spec front bumper. What is especially cool is that the game box art has a red FD on it! :ylsuper: https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...e13b3f7d78.jpg |
The original Need for Speed came out in 1994 with the FD.

Damn, this game is so old. I remember that I saw some youtube videos with it.

Seeing the Need for Speed video hurts my childhood. In my mind I remember the graphics being sooo amazing! I grew up very poor, and kids went to Chuck e Cheeses and such, my dad would take me to Best Buy to play the demo Playstaion, and Need for Speed was always on it. He would take me to go play it all the time hahaha. Seeing how bad it looks now hurts my soul lol
