Feed read diffuser, Shine vs Ebay?
 

Curious if anyone has had both in hand and been able to compare the fitment and general quality of the parts? I am contemplating purchasing a carbon fiber rear diffuser like the one pictured here https://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fibe...GeOx:rk:1:pf:0 and also pictured here https://www.shineautoproject.com/por...-7-misc-items/

I'm curious if anyone has either and what they have saw in terms of general fitment. Looks like the price difference by the time it gets to my door is $750 vs $960. I'm not afraid to spend money to get a better fitment, but I would like to know that I'm spending money to get a better fitment and not just spending money to spend money.

Shineauto has good fitment. I say so from my own experience from previously purchased products.

I've been in your same situation with trying to decide between 2 products. Like do I spend more on the rotary works when the no name ebay ad looks exactly the same to the point of using the same pictures. It's rough. In this instance since the pricing is so close, I would go with shine. It's a little tricky when it comes to body panels and with those eBay sellers they don't always use actual product pictures and they can say whatever they want in the listing.

One is on this club asking what we want and then providing it. They've always been good about answering any of our questions, even if we bought the part 2nd hand. The other is a nameless faceless entity in China who will make anything from a duckbill spoiler for your Kia to door pulls for your Porsche GT3RS

The one in the ebay link is actually a RE Amemiya copy. You can buy the real RE Amemiya in FRP for about $800 shipped if you're concerned about quality and fitment. https://www.rhdjapan.com/re-amemiya-....html?___SID=U

The fact that they don't even know what they're selling a copy of would put me off - It's an RE Amemiya Street diffuser, not FEED (they've never even made a rear diffuser as far as I'm aware). Go with Shine, you're guaranteed decent fitment, and support if you do have any issues.

I have the ebay frp street diffuser. The fitment in the middle is good but the sides, where the diffuser attaches to the bottom of the rear quarter panels, is off. I needed to cut & trim the diffuser on the sides. No really big deal considering how that area is hidden under my mud guards and that the diffuser was less than half the price f the Shine replica.

there's a youtube video of someone installing that ebay diffuser, it went terribly if i remember
