Any pics of kit installed and light pattern?

fd3s777 08-05-14 09:31 AM

My bumper and fender s are little bit off. I'll try to put on my red FD to show better fitment.

Definitely interested in more information on this kit. HID for all four bulbs or just for the projectors? Price includes the lenses?

04G35S 08-05-14 11:15 AM

I like this kit way more then my RE Amemiya Sleek Headlight kit!

TwinCharged RX7 08-05-14 11:55 AM

Do the projectors work well or are they just fog light projectors?

Markus1981 08-05-14 12:21 PM

Whats the price on the kit ?

04G35S 08-05-14 02:39 PM

$689.00 Halogen
$789.00 HID

I'll take those REs off your hand if you want this

FFWD_FD 08-05-14 04:12 PM

it'll look better without the home-depot hardware screws

Seems this is the latest design everyone is going with... Looks like the Hotwater Labs kit.

Either way NICE kit....

David Hayes 08-05-14 06:23 PM

I'd be very careful when thinking about this kit. His former kits have been less than satisfactory with the pop up kit being a fail. Make sure you get pics of the light pattern before ordering. In the past these haven't been provided.

I really like the look but experience tells me to be cautious. Hope the is high quality.

Want to show how good the fitment is. I removed my KS 4 pop up lights on my red FD. Shows this is dead on.

Fitment looks good. I assume the scratches on the housings are just because those are the test fit ones? How about the light quality and output? What type of projectors are those and how about the other rectangular light? Pics of the output would be very helpful.

fd3s777 08-06-14 05:18 AM

These are direct off molding. No paint or anything on top. Circle projector are use for high beam. Rectangular for driving so it would give wider and flat line light source.

David Hayes 08-06-14 05:22 AM

Okay, but what type of projector/rectangular lights are used? Are these a brand name or eBay quality? In the past, your kits have looked nice, but the light output was not good nor was the quality of the light components high.

Sorry to bring this up but I followed what happened to the guy that bought your pop up sleepy eye kit and I have seen your sleek kit in person. I think you would have a really nice product here if you used quality lights.

Yea, that is why I make sure this is for driving only. Not any type of foglight. I refund him the money. Cuz pop-up light kit really need to have the metal bracket made, which takes lots work to make. You will still need OEM unit to put them on. With Pivot controller it is just not stable. I'm still on this tho.

Sorry guys, forgot to count the cost for the metal brackets (made of stainless steel) and clear lenses. So price is $100 more. I just updated our site.

04G35S 08-06-14 07:31 AM

Do you have a photo of the light pattern on a wall in the dark?

Like david was asking. What type/brand lights? And judging by the flush mounting surface in your pics I assume the clear lenses are raised? any close up pics to show how much of a lip there is on with the lenses on?

Id also be interested to see how these look match painted to the car fully assembled.

Howard Coleman 08-06-14 01:35 PM

interested. 'sure need lights. i am also looking for a way to get outside air into my engine. perhaps the back side of the pass side cover could be opened in some fashion. i would guess the pop up mechanism might be able to be removed?

howard

paul_3rdgen 08-06-14 01:46 PM

I'm interested as well....I would like to see a complete finished set on a car.

YoshiFD3S 08-06-14 02:11 PM

I'll never get rid of my flip-ups...nevarrrrrr!! lol

These are nice, though. I've always liked the first-generation Evo-R projectors. These do look pretty spiffy, admittedly.

jutFD 08-06-14 03:49 PM

The Hotwater Labs lights were mentioned.....why are most of you interested in this set as apposed to the HWL lights that have been around for awhile? Look similar to me
