Does this gasket surface need skiming?
 

unfortunately i moved houses while my fd was in a million bits and my lower intake manifold got a little bit scratched. Can anyone tell me if these scratches are detrimental and will need the manifold to be skimmed? Just needs to be cleaned and probably go over it with a Scotchbrite pad to get some of the marks from the old gasket off and get it cleaned up nice.
