CNC pulley set - not underdrive ?

Hey guys,

Anybody know if a non-under drive CNC pulley set is available? I've never been able to find such a thing, but am surprised if it was never available...

I think the Togue Racing pullies aren't under drive. They show up frequently on Ebay. Actually decent quality and fit.

This isn't *quite* what you're asking for, but I run the Banzai pulley set and love it:

Pulleys & Belts (93+ RX-7)

First one on the page. The main pulley is under drive, but all others are standard size. No issues here with alternator charging or water temps etc. For the price you can't beat these, very high quality :icon_tup:

If you really want standard drive buy the Banzai Racing pulley set then take your stock main pulley and the Banzai main under drive pulley to one of the 21 machine shops in the Posttstown, PA area. Tell them you want them to make a 6061 standard size Aluminum pulley that looks like the Banzai under drive pulley. Shop around for the best price as it will vary tremendously depending on how busy they are.

That's an interesting suggestion--I never considered it as I assumed the price would be completely unrealistic. If I can't score the Togue set I'll give it a try and get a reality check.

Thanks!

Well phooey, I guess I'm out of luck then unless I go the custom fab option. I still expect that'll be too rich for my blood...

not to jack thread but is there such thing as lightweight pulleys for the 13b-rew?

For my STI I got a lightweight crank pulley, immediately noticed better low end throttle response and my MPG when up by 1.25 MPG.

Isn't that what GoodfellaFD3S linked to on Banzai Racing:

"OEM pulleys weigh 3lb 7.5oz, these aluminum pulleys weigh 1lb. 15oz."

Lol I should have checked out the link

Seeing how the crank pulley is an under drive pulley in this kit what does that mean?
Does this mean that water pump, power steering, ac.... will not work as well?

They work just fine at all RPM ranges and are better at higher RPM then stock, since they reduce the chance of cavitation of the water pump.
