Can someone tell me what bodykit this is?

Car is beautiful, would like to do something similar on mine.

Over the top and ugly as sin IMO.

But if you really want it, it looks like a FEED kit...

Thanks. Do you have any suggestions for something a bit more subdued?

What about Ron Dahm's old 20b car? Any ideas?

When I bought the car the front fender had been torn up pretty bad, so it will need a new front fender. Should I just buy the stock one? 1999 version? Any ideas?

Definitely my least favorite hood, ruins the lines of the car IMO.

New OEM stock fenders are surprisingly inexpensive from Ray Crowe, shoot him an email from Crowe.Ray@aol.com :icon_tup:

Opinions on body kits are 100% in the eye of the beholder. Most people hate them, but bottom line - it's your car, do what you like :bigthumb:

There are a huge number of options and it really all depends on whether or not you want to keep the stock lines, or if you want to go race car or alternate exotic look. Post pics and I am sure someone here will be identify any kit (challenge?), but if you want some ideas let us know what you are aiming for. Mazda produced some really nice additions for the FD and as previously mentioned, some of the more subtle FEED parts can really enhance the stock lines.

Another factor to consider is what wheels you plan to run, as that will determine if you need to look at wide fenders or not.

Whatever you do, remember; a cheap kit will cost you when it comes to fitting and paint, there are no short cuts if you want a quality job.

Agreed - the RE Amemiya AD9 hood still has the aggressive louver sections but without the ugly hole cut out the front :icon_tup:

  • Hood - Scoot or replica by a bunch of manufacturers. My preference for that style hood is by ViS as it is less aggressive and flows better IMO (just see my sig)
  • Front bumper - Feed or replica by Shine auto
  • Front Fenders - Feed or replica by Shine auto
  • Rear Fender - Burnout or replica by Shine auto
