Trailing Arm bushings
Calling Jimlab, maxcooper, damonB...
I looked at the parts book, it seems that the front bushing of the trailing arm is not availabe as replacement part. They come together with the trailing arm as replacement. But, I saw that jimlab did his own custom bushing for this. So it can be replaced. Now, looking at mazdamotorsports, I found that this is possible bushing for it. F128-28-52Y $47.30 I attached Mazdamotorsports photos. https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...postid=2393365 |
up...are you guys back from vacation?

Now the pic you have up is news to me and must be a very new part, because certainly no type of bushings for the trailing arm were available from Mazda without purchasing a new arm.
The bushing in the front of the trailing arm was only available with an entirely new arm :( The bushing is replaceable, it's just that Mazda didn't sell that particular bushing alone. I am in on Jimlab's latest group buy for a set of trailing arm bushings only since they were unavailable from Mazda, but your finding is good news! How the heck did you come across these??? The part number is good but I don't see it anywhere in the catalog by just browsing; you have to already know the part number. How'd you find them? |
reza didn't find them! i did!!! ok, well brian at mazdamotorsports showed me but that's besides the point....
type in "F128" in the search window and you will see all these mazda badged stiffer bushings. they are the same thing as the mazdaspeed advertised ones... Hey I did not lay the claim on finding them. I saw that list you gave me, and start analyzing the parts, then brings it up here.
Come on, I am trying to save money, so instead of buying M2 or RE trailing arms, I can just replace the bushings at a bit less cost. Reza |
I just poped one of these out this weekend. I'll go out to the garage and find it in a bit.
I'll post a pic of it so we can see the original also. However, that looks like it just from memory! Good find! |
Here is a pic of the one I just took out. Looks the like the right one to me!
