Tools
Just got my 94 a couple weeks ago - 70K miles, stock. Thought I should toss in a few tools just in case (as much as will fit in one of the storage bins).
Is there anything on the car that's not metric? Any special tools or parts I should be sure to include? Any special tools I'll need if I decide to start tweaking it? |
8, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19mm sockets with ratchet. no special tools I can think of...Those will loosen/tighten almost everything on the car. Nope, there's no standard stuff stock, it's all metric.

Make sure you get a good set of metric sockets and wrenches. Most are relatively small (10 and 12mm), larger 19, 22, 23mm are used for the oil drain plug and diff drain/fill plugs. Also a good 3/8"of stubby flex ratchet is a good investment. The engine compartment is quite cramped and I've had to use these on a number of occasions. Gotta thank Bruce for this idea!
