i really dont

Senseny 07-22-04 06:02 PM

Once again, I am sorry for your loss. I am glad you are here with us though. Just remember, a piece of your father lives on in you. I am sure you are making him proud. Live a good, full life and I am sure he will smile on you from wherever he is. And every father I know who loves his son or daughter would without second thought, sacrifice himself for his child.
God bless you for sharing something so hard and awful with this community.
Travis

omg, I changed my entire message I wroter to this. I went to go read what had happened and as I was reading it started bringing things that i've witnessed before and as I read even further I felt like I wwas actually there watching this as it was happening. I immediately started to cry. I feel so bad for you, no one should ever have to lose their parents in any way shape or form. What a horrible experience I'm so sorry. I can barely write this message as I'm completely shaken up. Everyone's parents should always outlive their kids. I'm so sorry, I can't tell you how bad I feel and I don't even know you. I give my condolences and can tell you your father is in a better place now watching you. Something like this didn't have to happen. I'm sorry but I can't continue writing anymore I'm crying too much, this brought old things with me back.

^^agreed

we know its 2 years old, its just a reminder of how bad things can get and we need to step it down a bit..this thread and the other one (the story) will be in my head for a long time..

artguy 09-24-04 06:15 AM

yeah...a big reality check for us all. your openness is appreciated on all levels. may his lessons he gave you in life be that much more important to you. That is what I am most thankful for now that my mother has passed...her lessons I did not understand until years later. This gives me inspiration during my most difficult times. The same will be of you. ...in fact, I should listen to her lessons more often in all aspects of life. Thus, she is still with me as your father is with you.

my condolences

Nicely put Artguy,

As I read it, it also got me all watery eyed.. I can't even imagine what it's like to lose my dad.. My condolences to you Midnight. I know this is 2 years old, but it's always good to know someone is thinking about you and your families well being. I know that he is watching over you now. God Bless, and hopefully your dad did not have to suffer any.

Nghtstlkr7 09-24-04 06:59 PM

even though its been two years my condolences go out to midnight and his family. reading that post nearly brought tears to my eyes. i could imagine being there and that being MY father. that is my single worst nightmare... losing any of my family to something tragic.
i couldnt handle it... youre a much stronger man than i am. my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family... even two years later.

areXseven 09-24-04 07:28 PM

Just another chilling reminder that things can go wrong so quick! God speed to the Family.

HeyYoSatchmo 10-14-04 05:06 PM

bizzump...cause this is hardcore

SiKoPaThX 10-14-04 05:12 PM

^?!?!?!?

Wtf?

Riccardo 10-15-04 03:35 AM

I'm really sorry about your loss
There is not much else to say really
Life to you (as we say in Greece)

WorldPax 10-15-04 04:48 AM

Midnight- Saw on the other thread that you still check back every so often so hopefully you'll see this.

If it gives you any comfort, drowning is actually one of the more pleasant ways to go, and I think David will back me up on this. There is an initial panic phase but that is quickly replaced by a sense of peaceful euphoria. There was no pain, there was no fear, just a gentle fading away.

Scrub 10-15-04 08:29 AM

This was like two years ago. Why would you bump this thread? I wish I had the rights to ban people because you'd be one of them. This isn't hard core it's sad. How old are you little boy?

Addict 10-15-04 08:50 AM

I don't know scrub, this gets bumped every once in a while, and I think it is always a good reality check. It was a sad event, but in sharing it, hopefully others will think hard about their driving, and maybe it'll save someone else. So I don't think it is a bad thing to bump it.

Even if he never reads this, my thoughts went out to you when I first read this midnight, and hope you are doing well.

Scrub 10-15-04 08:55 AM

My thoughts went out to him and his family, maybe it's just the way it was bumped that pissed me off.

SiKoPaThX 10-15-04 12:02 PM

agreed scrub...it would be one thing to bump it as a reminder but it's just a joke to give a
"bizzump" because it's so "hardcore".
