I Figured Out The Ultimate Cold Air Intake !!!!!!

OK so here it goes. Get some of that flex dryer hose from the hardware store. attach one end to your air filters, cut a hole in your firewall, and run the hose to the air conditioner ducts. Turn the A/C on and there ya' go 50 degree air into your engine :D
yeah, I'm bored....

OR!.....

squirt rubbing alcohol into the intake pipe right after the turbo's so it mists and cools off the air

try it....put some rubbing alcohol on your hand and feel how cold it gets from evaporating into air

we did this on a friends eclipse before we junked it....worked very well...but probably not to good for the engine....ya

ha :p

shooting rubbing alcohol on the intercooler works well for that... It works a lot better than water because it evaporates so quickly and eats up the heat.

If I keep my car we are going to rig up an alcohol system to shoot onto my front mount.

Now there's a GREAT idea! You also might want to rig up a couple of Halon fire extinguishers on both sides of the IC.
Gee, if you had a vented hood the flames coming out the top would make for an interesting picture..........
