FD guru's I need help

I posted this on the technical help section but couldn't get any help. o.k I removed the double throtttle butterflies from my extension manifold. Then while changing the vacuum hoses I accidently broke the nipple on the solinoid valve (g) for the double throttle control. I need to know if I can just eliminate that solinoid valve since I no longer have the butterflies, and if so what should I do with the vacuum chamber? Should I just pull everything off that has to do w/ the double throttle and plug all the nipples?

hold tight little buddy. i will go take a pic of mine for you explaining how to.

It appears that you could remove the solenoid all together, and cap the hose that leads to the EGR or if you don't have an EGR to the ACV solenoid.

 The control system (solenoid, etc) for the double throttle does not interface with any other controls or vacuum chamber, at leaste not on STD trans cars. The simplest is to just plug the line that went to the DTC actuator. To simplify, pull all 4 hoses, and block off the vacuum pipe on the front of the extension manifold where it was attached through the one way valve.

Hoses:
(1) back side of solenoid, vent with air filter
(2) front through 1 way valve to intake extension
(3) front to metal pipe rats nest
(4) metal pipe rats nest to DTC actuator

The double throttle solinoid valve has three hoses attatched to it. One that connects to the check valve, another to the vacuum chamber which leads to the double throttle actuator( which I do not have anymore), and last to a check valve which leads to the front side of the manifold. Also I disconnected my egr as well.

If your's has a vacuum chamber attached in line with the DTC system, is your car an auto or STD trans, and what year? I have not worked on or seen one yet that has the tank as shown in the manual. But then I don't work on autos.

My car is a 93 base 5 speed. and excuse me guys I just automatically tought that there was a vacuum chamber because I saw one in the vacuum hose diagram. I didn't realize that the parts for aoto trans. were shaded in black. So I'm sorry. so this is what I plan to do you guys tell me if I'm right. 1st I'll plugg up tha hole on the the check valve attatched to the solinoid rack, then plug the hole in front of the manifold next to the pcv valve, then since I no longer have an actuator for the double throttle, and I've already plugged up that hole. I guess I can just eliminate everything else since I don't even have the solinoid valve anymore. Am I right? thanks in advance guys I don't know what I would do w/out ya!
