ya!!went to the track

i went to the track and had so much fun. my friend and i raced our rx7s. i have a bone stock 88 rx7 and with a very bad reaction time of .603 i did 16.3 in the 1\4 mile and did 85. is that good. i have an 88se. my friend has a few mods. kn intake, pacesetter intake and exhuast and an electrice fan. and he did 15.3. is that a good time for those mods?he has an 87gxl

reaction time doesn't effect the times. 15.3 is pretty good for a non turbo, that's a stock 87,88 turbo 2 time.

so is a 16.3 good for bone stock on an 88se

i was almost certain that reaction time does play a part. cause soon as that light is green your time starts. or am i wrong?

no time starts when you cross the line.

so in a real drag race. you could have a better time but the guy beside you could win if he got out faster.

16.3 not too bad for a stock 86-88, 15.3 nice, i had a black one that did 14.7 with intake and full exhaust, it was my own exhaust design, it seemed to work great. i gotta go to the track again when i get my car running lol

its a lot better than most of the other times i see people running. i had a 87 NA, my best bone stock time in the 1/8 mile was a 10.2 which i think translates to 15.8 , using the 1/8 x 1.55. but thats pretty good, i see a lot of 16.7+
