XTD's 6 puck clutch?

Does anyone have one or does anyone know if there any good? Can you get good mileage out of puck clutch's?

6 puckers

dont do it bro, unless your pushin big horse, the loss in driveability isn't worth it. ive got one in my 90 n/a with street port, full exhaust, and 75 shot of zex, roughly shy of 200 horse before the juice. Even at that the clutch is soo touchy it makes me mad, if i had to do it again i would do a two stage the ABSOLUTE most. Sure the clutches are durable but unless youve got a 500 hp+ drag machine leave it the hell outta there!!

Wow is it really that bad? i guess i'll look for something else i have about 5,000 on a new stock one and its starting to slip in 4th under boost

Puck clutchs look attractive cause they are cheaper for the same horsepower/torque load than a disk clutch.. But DAMMIT, they are TOUCHY, and they will chatter if you try to slip 'em and they make driving around town a real PAIN!! I also wonder about flywheel life, especially lightweight flywheels with the friction inserts because of the sintered copper contact area on the pucks.....

I've sticking with the ACT X-treme Disc, even though its 100 bucks more than the 6-puck
