WTF is wrong with my motor?

I parked my TII the end of august due to what I thought was a blown motor. Still ran fine, drove fine, wasn't down on power either not much anyways if any at all... But it made a whirring noise and the idle exhaust note was funny. I took it to 8500rpm several times after the detonation incident and it seemed to be OK. Didn't sound quite right on the limiter either - but I was sure it was fucked anyways and didn't care.

I got it to my garage, flooded it twice, checked the compression and got 0-30-0 rear and 0-0-0 front.

I just pulled the turbo off of it right now and looked at the apex seals fully expecting to see damage of some sort - but I can't see any at all.

They don't move in and out freely though - none of them - when poking them through the exhaust ports with my finger.

What should I do here? Pull it and disassemble? Try MMO or diesel or something? Maybe when I detonated it I blew all the carbon off and it stuck in the seals? There were MANY large chunks of carbon loose in the exhaust ports.

It was also flooded hardcore - like 6 ounces of fuel poured out of the exhaust manifold when I pulled it off lol.

Well, if it's flooded, you won't get compression. Try adding some oil/atf to the spark plug holes, and getting compression readings again.

I can't remember if the exhaust port is an area where the seals are fully compressed or not.

If the seals are stuck, you can try some magic to free them up, but expect to pull the engine apart.

anyone else got any ideas?

Pull it, tear it down, clean everything, spec everything, rebuild it using new parts.

:D sorry if I couldn't be more helpfull

Rebuild it before a seal goes and the cost of rebuilding doubles.

you could have cracked the apex seal as well. i pulled apart a motor where the apex seal had a large crack in it, but had not broken completely. i also vote for the teardown to find out what's going on. even if it is just a stuck seal.

I suppose I should!

I'll probably pull the motor and see what's inside.

I'm going to fill the chambers with diesel first (it turns carbon into goo) - so if that frees it up then I'll drive it, if not then obviously something is damaged and it needs to come out.
