WTF just happen???

here is the thing:

saturday i went to a drift event, dogged the piss out of the car. no warning lights came on, and everything performed excellent. today we put an apexi dunk exhaust on it to test it out. the exhaust had been sitting for like a couple years in a garage and was full of random trash and shit.

anyways, i drove the car and souned clogged so i got on it. it did not back fire like it usually does and i got concerned. i got on it once more and smoke stared coming out and smelled like something burning.

i pulled off the road and let the car cool down while running. i checked the oil afterwards and it seemed fine. i waited like 5 minutes then drove it back. the whole time it was fine no smoke, no burning smell. i have no clue waht just happened.

could it be just the exhaust? motor?

oh yeah specs: 90 GTU, rebuilt motor about 50K, no previous history of any problems.

any help is appriciated!!!

Yeah, if it smells like something burning, it'd be in the exhaust given your current situation.

I had a friend who had a problem with no start on a car that sat for several years. After replacinng carb, full tune up etc., the car still wouldn't start. I pulled the plugs and primed the cyliders with gas and when we cranked it a mouse nest a a whole family of mice blew out of the exhaust pipe. You probably had a mouse nest in there!:rlaugh:
