Yep, I just did the same thing, and just fixed the problem. Take a small flat-head, or knife, and cut open the top black box on the AFM. Make sure ALL 3 connectors are on their proper tongs, the longest connector goes on the long gold, the shortest goes on the V prong, the part with the hole, and the middle-length goes on the far right prong. Their is a picture of this somewhere on the forum. But anyways, I had no problems with those connections. It was the "tin" like peices that connect to the bottom, E2's. Make sure all 3 have proper connection(are touching the prongs), and that none of them are touching EACH OTHER. Mine is running great again now :)

afm is fine but when pump kicks on kinda sounds like leaking air somewhere

socalrotor 08-01-05 05:53 PM

sounds like a vacuum leak

socalrotor 08-01-05 05:54 PM

if you changed the fuel line I hope you did a top notch job... our FI systems are fairly high pressure system

derek420 08-01-05 06:14 PM

there is no leaks changed with high pressure fuel hose front to back

got a guage you can put on the end to check fuel presure? after reviewing your post....question, is the starter turning over? also if it is when you turn on the pump do you smell any gas?

derek420 08-01-05 07:10 PM

i do not have a gauge and i smell gas when its turning over the starter is working when the pump just is on by its self i dont smell gas just hear a kinda hissing sound and also i just checked i see some oil under where the exhaust manifold is and smells a little like gas
