mine loves to flood when it gets cold out did you try deflooding it
no the battery is fine...it keeps cranking....but yea thats what i think is happening is it keeps flooding...how to do deflood it take the egi fuse out and crank it?
i also noticed that there was no cold start fluid in it either...im going to go buy some antifreeze after work and change the plugs and wires maybe that will help while i do that im going to compression test it....i hope to god my apex seals arnt bad....anyone got a used 13b NA? or maybe a 88 single turbo 13b for sale with ecu and harness for cheap?
If the battery is fine, it could be the starter... be adventerous and push start the car ??
everything cranks over....it just wont start....my starter is fine...my battery is fine...and i got fuel i need to check the compression and spark....i hope i jus fouled out my plugs....but idk ill keep it posted but idk it may be blown apex seals which would suck i jus bought the car and it only has 83k on it
how long was your car running before you shut it down yesterday?....pull your plugs to see if they're soaked in fuel...if they are, buy some new ones...then u can proceed with the de-flooding procedure
it was running for about 50 miles...and i brought it home...let her sit for a bit running so the oil pressure would drop and then i turned her off went out there this morning and all she would do is crank and crank and crank but wouldnt fire i have new plugs and wires but i dont know the deflooding trick without using ATF....i dont use ATF on my rotarys i hear they swell seals and is not good for the rotary unless i extreamly need to

yeah i heard about the atf being bad for the seals too...but only in excess. like if your deflooding your engine constantly......u can also use oil instead of atf |
ok so last night i changed out all spark plugs and wires...the dumb ass who owned it before me had all trailing sparkplugs in it....so as i was changing them i cranked it alot to get all the fuel out of the housings and also did a compression test that came back every pulse to about 105 psi for both housings....i then installed a switch for my fuel relay to turn it on and off....finally after a while she started and drove it for about 20 minutes to make sure everythign was ok....i returned home and hit the switch and waited for it to die...then about ten minutes later i got in....turned the switch on...waited about 5 seconds and tried to crank it but i got nothing...it kept cranking and cranking....so i really dont know what is going on if anyone has any info for me that would be awesome...

im in detroit and its like -2 right now. i had the same problem. i used a couple drops of MMO. and had someone toggle the egi fuse while cranking and itll fire up every time. its just really cold and the fuel wants to puddle. try taking the battery in at night so you know you have a nice full charge in the morning.
ok sorry for the dumb question what is mmo and what egi fuse the comp or inj...yea it sucks i cant wait for the weekend its gunna get to bout 50 here in the cuse
and also where do u put the MMO
mmo is marvel mystery oil. and it goes into the leading holes. just a few drops!!!! and its the egi fuse that is closest to the engine. sorry for the semi vague fuse description. its basically the atf trick without atf.
