Wiper Relay Switch
Where can i find a Wiper Relay Switch and how much would it cost approximatly? If any one knows of anywhere i could find one in Canada, or even better, Saskatchewan it would be a great help thnx

I heard that there is a way that you can just replace a circut or something like that.

Mazda wants $450.00 for 1990 GXL Front & Rear Wiper Switch ..
I Bought one on Ebay for $12.00 works great , although I very rarely drive my car in the rain .. be carefull of guys selling re'built and there are diferent switches for different year and models .. also I think there is a web sight out there showing how to repace the modules ILOVMYRX7.COM ??? CHECK AROUND AND SAVE SOME BUCKS AND FUSTRATION LIKE I DID ... |

I sell both rebuilt switches as well as can rebuild your's for you or you can try and rebuild it yourself (I do get a pretty regular number of people that smoke the circuit board trying to do it themselves).
I also have instructions for the rebuild on my site. Some of the other DIY sites suggest all sorts of cutting and butchering of the switch, which you may wish to avoid. |
I bought new relays and had them profesionaly installed by a Instrument technician friend with a good background in soddering circuit boards. Self repair is hit and miss. I ended up sending 1 out of 2 of mine to www.mazdamark.com who does a much better job.

I'm the king of DIY -- cheap bastard, don't like to pay for any service type things if I can avoid it. I butchered my switch, ripped the traces off, don't do it. Send it to Mark -- he'll take care of you. :) |
