Wiper bottle area as cold air induction area?
 

Would it be feasable to just make some ducting to get some cold air forced up into the area of an aftermarket filter in the same spot as the stock filter? I'm assuming if that was feasable, i'm also guessing it would be good to make some sort of shield for the cold air to stay inside around the filter. Reason for me thinking this is because of the fact that I wouldn't want the filter to be down where the cold air comes in and possibly get wet/very easily dirtied.

Meh, my bad, I always saw stuff about cold air intakes with piping down there but never came across something that just had ducting up to it.
