Usually the troublesom switch. Very expensive. If you look on ebay you will find people that will rebuild them for $99. Don't screw around with the switch as they will only sell you a rebuilt if you send in a rebuildable unit.

i replaced the switch already from a member on the forum, what is the likelyhood that both switches would be bad? not much. I am pretty sure that an electric motor can only have one speed working when the others dont.

The company that made a part on the switch did not use a good part. And its a cronic failure on RX7's so I am not surprised that both were bad.

check mazdamark he rebuilds them and can give you more information.

Actually, its Icemark that rebuilds them, the website is www.mazdamark.com. He does very good work for reasonable prices.
