window switch differences
 

I just bought a new drivers side power window switch for a 1988 Vert, the switch that was in the car was deep and the back looks like a circuit board.
The new switch is shallow and has copper ribbon connectors riveted to a piece of white plastic,
The switch top looks the same on both.
ARE they interchangable????
