The stock Hitachi HT18 uses T4 bearings & seals..

You should E-mail them and ask if they have your specific kit.

soooooo this T3 kit wont work???

SureShot 08-17-05 01:27 PM

I don't think so. (sorry for the slow edit)

E-mail them.
They probably have what you need.

T3 is the same thing as the T04 kit. :)
It should work.

josh greene 08-18-05 07:07 AM

The guy at the place said there is 2kinds of carbon seals. a 1 piece copper one that presses in and a 4 Piece, what one is for the HT18???
Thanks

RETed 08-18-05 07:12 AM

Rted you should do a write up on turbo rebuid.....then you wont have to go over the same stupid stuff with everyone....LOL
Thanks alot man ill prolly have more questions as I get into rebuilding this a lil more. is there any where that has a break down of how the turbo comes apart???

RETed 08-18-05 07:21 AM

Yeah, I've been wanting to do it, but there's not too many stock turbos still running around down here. :)
It's pretty straight-forward.
If I get a chance to do a write-up, I will.
Good luck!
