Will an S5 coil work in my S4?

Because I found out why my car started and shut off after a bit and wont start again. My coil for my leading spark plugs is dead. I only have spark from the trailing plugs.

So I found one from an S5...will it work on an S4 TII with S4 N/A wiring?

Thanks

On that note, whats the black plug coming out of that coil? I dont have anything to plug it to.

Its a single wire, gauge 12 I suppose, and its black....I guess its a gound, but I dont wanna try and fry something...again...lol

All coils are interchangeable. Turbo -> N/A & S4 -> S5.

You'r right, you will fry something!! I'm glad you had the sense to ask before doing anything but I have no idea why people always jump to the conclusion that it's a ground. :confused:

It's for connecting a diagnostic tach. Unless you're connecting one of those, don't touch it.
