Will my mods support the HP I want?

I looking to get 275-ish.

2 questions. First will stock 550's both pirmary and secondary support 275hp?
And second, I know I may need to raise the boost a bit but, will the following mods be enough?

N/A 6-port block, Boosting 6psi, Front mount intercooler, Greddy Type-S BOV, Koyo Aluminum Radiator, ApexI S-AFC, Walbro 255, Rtek 1.5, Centerforce stage 1 clutch, FD Alternator, RB Aluminum flywheel, 3" turbo back exhaust

550's wont cut it for that amount of power. You're running high compression as well as boost. You'll want bigger injectors to be on the safe side. At that power, you'll be close to maxing out the duty cycle on the 550's

You should upgrade your rtek to a 2.0, it may not be much, but that ability to control ignition and fuel is essential if you want a safe motor.

Is there a TII driveline swapped into there to handle that power? At 275hp, you'll be approaching, if not passing, the limits of your N/A driveline.

Yeah the car is T2 through and through just with a N/A block.

Thanks, by the way.

No prob. More fuel is always better than not enough.

get 720cc secondaries and tune it a bit and you'll be fine.

I'd go with 720-850cc for the secondaries, rtek 2.0, i dont think you'll get 275hp 6psi on a stock TII turbo (if thats what you're using) 10psi would prob. do it though.

sorry to thread jack but i was wondering the same thing, i have a s4 t2 in my vert with a an intake, exhaust, walbro fuel pump, manual boost controller and a s4 turbo that's wastegate that has been heavily ported with a diameter of nearly 25mm. it has been back-cut extensively at about a 45 degree angle. Also, the turbo's 'back-plate' has been ported to allow the waste-gate's flapper arm to open further so it should be able to hold a solid 9psi to redline. what else should i get to make ~250-275whp? would i need the same as above rtek 2.0, FMIC and 750cc secondaries or all 4?

can it be done with the modified s4 turbo and no porting to the motor and stock intercooler?

once again sorry for the jack-move

Yeah I was thinking 720's. And the turbo is an S5 stock WG port and all.

If youre running 550 prim and secondaries, why does your sig say 780 secondaries?

Mankdrake 2661 08-09-07 03:35 PM

The guy bought the car from said they were 780's. But other thing he said he had changed and done he didn't. So I'm just changing things out in order to know for sure what all is in the car. And one of them leak anyway.
