Will 17x7.5 offset 35 wheels rub with Tanabe GF210 springs?

Hi,

Will 17x7.5 offset 35 wheels rub with Tanabe GF210 springs?

Thanks

there is a thread on wheel fitment in the suspension area. I have kyb agx with gc adj springs from when I bought the car and after doing a little math, that fitment should clear your strut. You would probably even have room to add a spacer, that would be my biggest concern if you wanna be hella flush bro!

I run 7.5" +35 offset with factory suspension, no problems.

Ok cool thanks. So Tanabe springs with stock shocks should be ok?

Yes.

Put up some pics on the wheel thread after :)

tanabe and tein stock type front lowering springs have less clearance then stock springs because the spring is wound wider at the level of the tire if I recall correctly.

You may very well be correct, but not knowing the spring diameters that's why I mentioned stock suspension. Actually never thought an
aftermarket spring would be larger than the stock unit. If the springs are actually wider than the stock units at the tire
area, then one would need to know what size tire is compatible with the springs, if in fact, they are larger than stock as the 7.5" +35 offset
only moves the wheel in 1mm (.039").
Guess we'll find out.

Anyone wanna help me real quick? Looking at some 17x8.5's with a +31 offset, cars going to have racing beat springs on kyb non adjustable struts. Not sure on what fire size I'll go with, probably whatever fits best :)

Also, any tips for cleaning corrosion? If I get these ssrs they'll need some serious tlc.

enkei rpf1's 17x8.5+30 offset

That's what you run? What size tires?
I would have posted my original reply in the wheel thread but anything with a high post count doesn't load in the app on my phone

I'm planning on running 225/45r17 tires with 17x7.5 35 offset.

Nosferatu 05-07-16 05:50 PM

that should work fine on racing beat springs..I've run 17x8+35 on stock springs with a 225/45r17 very square/blocky kumho tire on the front.at worst you can run up to a 5mm spacer on the stock front wheel studs if needed to clear spring.
