Wider rims

I bought a set of rims last year for my 90 Fc - 18x8.0 and I really wished that I bought a wider set. Can/how/where if possible can I widen same rims to be 8.5 in the front and 9.5 in the rear. Or sell and by a new set.

Can you even fit 9.5 in the rear?

I remember my 16x8 with 0 offset barely cleared and need minor rolling of the fenders

there is so much wheel fitment info here it's not funny. please search.

yes u can fit 8.5 in the front u just need the right offset im runnin 8.5 in the front with a +25 front offset and 10 in the rear with a +20 offset in the rear. they are maxed out but they fit and clear everything. now u may have to roll the front fenders i did and they fit well and the rears may need a slight roll. im running 245 in the rear and i rolled it to were i can fir 255 easy. and the fronts im running 215. but all depends on what u want to run. also check out fc3s.org they have a chart u can see. thats what i used

or just keep the rims you have and buy spacers to make them sit farther out towards the fender...15-20mm should do it.

You run a 245 on a 10inch wheel? How's that look? My 9inch wide rears have 275s on them and they fit perfect with stock bodywork, no rolling required. Get the right offset and you won't need to roll the fender, though the only 10inch wheel I've ever seen fit a stock body FC is the Enkei RPF1...

Thanks for all the input. I noticed that in norotors.com a lot of guys with the FC LS1 have with 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. I'm going to look up fc3s.org

it doesnt look bad at all i think and i rolled the rear fenders. im sure i can run a spacer and still have room to tuck but i like the way it looks .heres a lil pic i lowered it another inch since this pic
